2018–2019  |  These paintings represent my interest in both Urban and Rural aerial views. For me, cities represent energy, activity, sounds, smells, old, new, future, fabrication, commerce, density and development. Flying high above rural areas with a view from my window seat, I see shapes, colors, linear delineation and patterns in a variety of formations. This series is an exploration of what unites and divides us. [All paintings are acrylic on canvas.]
