2016 | Along with an overlay of squiggles, targets, circles, cosmos, line patterns and leaves, this body of work explores the layering of colorful, geometric shapes. Maintaining the inclusion of images from nature, the leaves are representative of the ups and downs we experience in our lives. They portray a sense of movement as we meander through our own personal experiences. Clear influences emerge: Henri Matisse, Piet Mondrian and Hans Hoffman, to name a few. [All paintings are acrylic on canvas.]
